Hillcrest Agency, LLC began in 1998 as a brokerage to handle difficult risks in Connecticut. Apartment buildings, distressed properties and development sites with pollution issues were among the first types of policies written through the agency. While working with the clients involved in property development, Hillcrest Agency provided Liability insurance for contractors, construction managers, and property owners.
Through referrals, the business has grown, and Hillcrest now offers all lines of insurance coverage. With access to over 20 insurance carriers, coverage can be written for most accounts. In addition to handling difficult business risks, the agency represents companies eager to insure standard business as well.
There are some businesses that need special insurance, which is placed through program underwriters. Most agencies do not access this specialty marketplace. The staff at Hillcrest Agency have been working with program managers for many years, and have expertise in these niche areas. Some of the special insurance programs are Environmental Insurance, Self Storage Coverage and Professional Liability.
One of our unique services is the Professional Partners Program. Just like doctors, attorneys and other professionals specialize in certain areas, Hillcrest Agency focuses on Commercial Insurance. In order to provide Employee Benefits, Health and Safety Plans and Risk Management, we have formed associations with other companies that excel in these areas. Then, we work with those professionals to develop a comprehensive insurance plan. It is our intention at Hillcrest Agency to be a resource for business owners to find a solution to their concerns.
Diane Vizzo, CPCU is owner of Hillcrest Agency and oversees all operations of the agency. With over 25 years experience in commercial insurance, she brings product knowledge and the benefit of her relationships with company underwriters to her clients. Her plan for the agency is to offer quality insurance coverage and give attentive service. The HIllcrest staff are licensed agents with experience in customer service for the business industry.
