Self Storage Program
Hillcrest Agency insures self storage facilities in the Northeast. In addition to the standard Property and Business Liability, we provide a Self Storage Insurance Program with coverage enhancements tailored to the self storage industry. Our policies include Blanket Building and Contents, Customers’ Goods Legal Liability, Sale and Disposal Legal Liability and Extended Business Income. Because we work with 5 insurance companies offering a Self Storage policy, we are able to provide competitive premiums to our clients.
Self storage facilities often need additional coverages not included with the Package Program through the special companies. As part of the Self Storage Program through Hillcrest Agency, we include other types of insurance necessary to fully protect the business owner and facility.

Pollutants that are left behind or spilled by a tenant are a concern for the self storage owner. There is only limited pollution coverage on the Package Program policies. We have worked with one of our environmental brokers to bring an affordable Premises Pollution Liability policy to self storage owners. This policy will cover on site pollutant clean up, midnight dumping and third party claims for a $ 1,000,000 Limit of Liability.
