Hillcrest Agency History

Diane Vizzo started Hillcrest Agency in 1998 to insure difficult risks in Connecticut. Apartment buildings, distressed properties, and development sites with environmental issues were among the first locations to be insured through the Agency.

Today, the Agency provides Commercial Insurance for all types of companies, with a particular focus on business in the alternative marketplace.  Environmental insurance continues to be our specialty, with coverage for consultants, engineers and transportation risks. Many healthcare professionals come to Hillcrest Agency for our expertise in placing Professional Liability.

Clients receive detailed annual reviews to identify any changes in their business or concerns. The staff at Hillcrest Agency are licensed agents with the ability to provide timely service and appropriate coverage. Should a claim occur, we encourage all clients to call us first, to talk about the insurance coverage and their expectations for the claim process.
